Chapter 36 : Shopping

Holiday,

Early in the morning, a Loli dragon said. "I wanna go to school!"

As she said that both pair dead fish eyes were staring at her, Kobayashi was the first to ask. "Why so sudden?"

"Wait Oba-san, Kanna why do you suddenly wanna go to school?" Kyle asked for a reason why.

Kanna immediately answered, "Because it looks fun!"

Kobayashi touched her glasses, and replied. "That's it?"

"Yes that's it!" Kanna cutely raised her hands above, seeing this he couldn't help but think. 'What kind of adorable creature is this?!'

He opened his mouth and said. "Okay, let's enroll you in kindergarten."

"Really?"

"Yes, Kanna you're going to school as soon as possible." He smiled kindly at her, he knew that sooner or later that she would eventually have to enroll in school so the sooner the better.

"Yaaay!" Kanna was very happy that her request was accepted, she tackled him and hugged him tightly.

At this time he thought happily. 'Worth it! As long as she's happy I'm fine with anything.'

Suddenly Kobayashi interrupted this heartwarming moment. "Wait, wait! Aren't you going to ask for my permission first?!"

"Of course, Oba-san however you're still going to agree anyway right?"

"W-well...of course I do, Kanna is a child after all she needed education...but anyway I hate the way you can read me like a book." Kobayashi looked annoyed, because she feels like she couldn't hide anything from her nephew.

"Ahahaha, that's natural Oba-san because I lived with you more than a decade already so everything is totally normal." He smirked at his aunt, seeing this smirk of his made Kobayashi more annoyed than before.

"You know that smirk of yours is annoying…sigh* anyway since you're going to enroll her in a school then you should buy her some school supplies."

"Of course, however I don't know the school supplies that are required."

"Fair enough, okay then I'll enroll her right now so that I could ask the school supplies requirements."

After that Kobayashi brought Kanna to the nearest kindergarten. Kyle followed along with them because he doesn't have anything to do other than playing PS4 or PC.

But in reality the real reason why he followed them is because he wanted to know where Kanna's future school was, so that he could visit if he had the time.

The process wasn't long, in fact it was quite fast. The requirements are simple: a uniform for kindergarten, pencil, paper, backpack, eraser, notebook and etc.

This time his aunt wanted him to buy the requirements, so accepted his plan to buy the requirement by himself however Kanna insisted to follow him buy the school supplies.

He couldn't reject this little sister of his, so he let her follow along, however Tohru asked to come along with them.

Kyle didn't refuse her. "Alright, but don't cause trouble okay?"

"I'm not a child that needed to be reminded...of course I know that." She grumbled, she was a little angry with him because it's like he's treating her like a child.

He immediately realized that Tohru's mood became foul, it wasn't that he is good at reading expressions, it's just Tohru doesn't know how to hide her emotions, realizing his mistake he immediately apologized.

"Tohru, sorry i don't mean it in a bad way…"

"Yeah I know that, but it's just irritating...for you to treat me as a child.."

"My bad, how about this for my apology let's go on a date with just the two of us, just kiddi-

"Huh?! Really?! That's a promise okay!" Tohru was very excited because Kyle asked her for a date, she couldn't even hear his last words, she was lost in her delusions.

"Tohru? Tohru? Hey?" Tohru couldn't hear him anymore, he actually said the date part as a joke but he didn't think that Tohru would take it seriously, even though he specifically said 'just kidding' in the last part, however Tohru didn't seem to hear it at all!

He scratched his cheeks, seeing her so happy he couldn't tell her that it was a joke, because he would really become a bastard... besides he actually has the intention to ask her on a date but he couldn't just ask her in a normal way.

Now that a chance has come, he wouldn't waste such an opportunity! Ever since he became a God he gained the confidence to change his relationship with Tohru, though he was still far too weak compared to her it just a matter of time reaching her level.

Shopping~

He originally thought that this shopping would be quick and easy but he underestimated Kanna's taste...in the end of the day he visited several shops and ended in the mall.

Tohru seems to have a trauma about malls no to be specific she sees the mall as a fortress, she have this traumatic experience getting hunted every time she see a fortress, so that's why she disliked going to mall ever but because of Kyle she have to choice but to endure this uncomfortable feeling.

He noticed her uncomfortable expression, he asked her. "Tohru, are you alright?"

Hearing him, Tohru forcefully smiled and replied. "Y-yeah I'm fine.."

It was very obvious that she wasn't, at this moment he doesn't know why but he ends up saying. "Hey... wanna hold hands?"

"Eh?" Tohru's eyes widened in surprise, she couldn't believe she just heard, she continued.

"C-c-can you repeat it?"

"I said... wanna hold hands?" He doesn't want to make excuses, besides it wasn't a big deal it was just holding hands it isn't inappropriate.

After confirming it, Tohru immediately answered. "Yes!"

Her happiness was immeasurable at this moment, Tohru shyly held his hand after touching him.

Kyle tightened his grip and asked "Are you still uncomfortable?"

She shook her head, and smiled beautifully. "No! Right now I feel comfortable and happy thanks to you."

Her smile was so stunning, it made him blush. She was just too beautiful, however he kept his cool. "Is that so? I'm glad."

At this moment, the atmosphere turned flirty, however it was broken by Kanna's excited voice. "Kyle! Kyle! Let's go there!"

Both Tohru and Kyle became awkward however none of them stopped holding each other's hand, after a moment of awkwardness he finally spoke. "Let's go?"

"Mhm." Tohru nodded shyly.

After that they followed Kanna's lead while holding hands.
