Selling a house is so frustrating. You get a text at 8:00 pm in the evening like "hey, someone wants to see your house at 7:00 am tomorrow morning". So now you have to spend the rest of your evening cleaning your house top to bottom. Beyond a normal deep-cleaning; no personal effects out whatsoever. Not even your toothbrush. Then you can't sleep that entire night because any of these showings could be the one, and what if it's THIS one? So after a bad night of sleep, you wake up, clean up all the stuff you couldn't last night (HIDE THAT TOOTHBRUSH), and corral your cats up into their kennel, and goddamn they HATE that kennel. But you hurry them into the car and drive away, because you can't be anywhere NEAR the house while they're looking at it, so you just drive. Maybe get lunch, maybe just sit in a parking lot... except you're in the woods, so both of these things are at least a 15 minute drive away. But you drive all the way there... only to get a text saying that they've already come and left, and they're "just browsing, thanks!".

And then you come back home, dejected in your empty house that hasn't sold yet, and wait for the next one. We've done this like 5 times now. But maybe the next one... The next one is THE one, definitely.
