Thanks so much for being so patient with our unexpected break! Feeling much better now, and had some great progress with house selling. Don't want to go too into detail just yet, but our hard work's been paying off and things are looking pretty promising~

During my delirium, I ended up beating Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. And... I didn't like it! I've been following the Yakuza series since the OG localized release of Yakuza 1 on PS2, but I might honestly rate this one near the bottom. There just wasn't any sauce for me, man. The characters are lackluster, the story is nonexistent, and sure, yeah, it's a side game, but this really just feels like a half-baked mini-game collection at damn near full price. Even the music wasn't there for me. I kept holding out hope 'til the very end and granted, much like The Man Who Sold His Name, there's some pretty good stuff in the ending itself... but just not enough for me to recommend. I might actually recommend Dead Souls over this one just because at least that commits harder to its alt-universe zombie novelty. Ah well, I'm still gonna be in line for the next Yakuza release.
