Why does Robbie only have a last name, this family likes to give girls a bunch of middle names but boys don't get any? What is going on here?

Its a side-effect of these kind of stories staying "in the moment" with sex scenes that are detailed out, taking up alot of the word count each chapter. It used to bother me too in the beginning but I've gotten used to it over time as this is the MO of most erotic fiction. I don't even think about the timeframe anymore unless he mentions "it's hard to believe it's only been *this* long since everything started...".
