Quick Update

So, last month I gave a quick update that things have been rocky for me lately, and unfortunately that's been continuing. I always try to stay as positive as I can and optimistic about getting more writing done, but the stress has been gnawing at me. Playing catch-up isn't a bad thing for me - I LIKE getting things caught back up when they are out of whack and much prefer it to wiping the slate. I found myself in a really, really weird situation the last ten days or so though - I had AMA content to post, but I kept... not posting, and feeling like I needed to get just a little more done. Repeat that daily, and suddenly it's been two weeks.

So that's how we ended up with a 40k word release all at once, when I could have been posting 5-10k chunks. Does it make sense? Not a fucking lick of it. But my social anxiety brain was dead-set on not opening up Patreon for some Godforsaken reason without having some perfect number reached relative to how long it had been.

Thankfully I've now posted, and am over the hump of that mental road block. I think there was some really great stuff in that release, and I like that the pacing of the new AMA arc is a little more variable - both in terms of chapter length, and how much content there can be in a day. I'm also really enjoying teeing stuff up for later.

Here's my current thinking on what's coming next in terms of releases:

I owe another 35k in AMA chapters, followed by the Sponsor Tier chapters to the various other stories. That will most certainly close out June. Then in July I'll do a Double FoF, and Double QTNW, and then pick back up on regular releases.
