(Another Not) Tuesday Update "18"/03/25

Whelp. Sometimes the week after a rough patch gets better. Sometimes it just continues to be awkward.

Obviously I'm not thrilled with taking another week for a single chapter of QTNW - Chapter 37 (which just released in Alpha draft) is kind of a weird one, and oversized. The problem is that I only covered about... maybe 2/3 of what I thought I would. Possibly closer to half. So I'm not sure if next month will be Chapter 38, or 37.5. I'm generally happy with it at least?

That being said, there's some work to do to actually get caught up with things moving into AMA week.

FoF 37/40, QTNW 34/37, 8 QT Spinoff Chapter Reviews.

Still not great. I DID have some big days of writing though, and if I can keep on track with that AMA week will end faster than usual.

Other Stuff

It's astounding how when it rains, it pours. The last two weeks have been weird for me, and I'm still bouncing back out of it. And that includes my last-minute trip on Sunday to Toronto ComiCon.

It's the smaller of the two big nerd conventions in the city every year, and this year I couldn't find any friends who wanted to go with me so I ended up heading over on the Sunday by myself. Kind of a weird experience, going solo - in some ways it was nice because I wasn't having to check in with anyone, or slow down my browsing for their interests and not just my own. But then, I also didn't have anyone to BE with, so other than a few conversations with artists/writers (Jim Zub continues to be my idol in terms of how he interacts with fans at these things) it was sort of a weird, lonely day of train rides, walking around a packed convention, and making some purchases.

I did get some cool new art to go up on my walls, and some Conan comics to fill in holes in my collection. But yeah... weird day that wasn't as big a pick-me-up as I had hoped. It also, as ComiCon often does, made me itch to work on a Comic project or two that I've had way on the backburner in my mind for a while. Sure, I have a 'sex comic' idea for here on Patreon, but I also have a couple of mainstream ones that would work really well.

Of course, this is the story of my life - more ideas than time to commit to them.

I think I'll leave it here for now. AMA week will start tomorrow, and Oh Boy, didn't I just leave THAT story at an easy to pick up point! Here comes Therapy.
