I'm still feeling very self conscious about this because confession scenes *are* inherently cliche, but having Xiao deal open-heartedly with romantic love for the first time in his long life is a concept I really wanted to explore! Also Lumine letting herself be vulnerable and honest to him 🥹 (even if they both needed a small push from the archon of freedom to say all the words :D)

Anyone who understands Xiao's character I think will understand this, esp since his entire story is about wanting things for himself and just living normally 🥲 clear consent and full clarification is never ugly boring, or cliché IMO 🤷 also I do love that you depict Lumine as vulnerable. There's been something going on in the air where some still insist female vulnerability is somehow a weakness, but she's so full of life and feels so tangible as a person 🥺❤️❤️❤️ beautiful work, Nym! ✨❤️❤️
