I loved this one, even though I didn't realize until I got to the end that I'd read it already previously (I use the "heart" button to let myself know what I've read in the past). Looking forward to reading more from this (although I'm hoping the next parts aren't going to move much past CP's 60 Minutes/Poker night (as Phil's Tale hasn't reached that point yet).

I've been putting off reading this for a few days, until I had a few hours to savour it - but damned if I didn't read the whole thing in 30 minutes, devouring it in a single gulp! I am totally invested in these guys, and really want to read more!

2025-02-02 21:27:18 +0000 UTCBy 'one shot' I more mean that it isn't intended to be an ongoing story of have any sort of sequel. As a novella it will end somewhere in the 35-40k word area, and will be a complete story in that timeframe.
