Follow-On Updates From October
Alright, so we've got several news items carrying over from the events of October. I want to get right back to writing here, so I'm going to try to hit these fast instead of being my verbose self.
Website - I got a bunch of work done on it, but I let it suck up time that I should have been writing. It's back on the backburner right now while I fix everything else.

OFG Takedown - This, thankfully, has been fixed. I'm not thrilled by the changes that were necessary, but as I mentioned in the emergency update middle-end of the month, I would much rather get things fixed and NOT risk this community and my career getting ripped out from under me than not. All chapters are now back up and available in their Bundles as linked in the Collections and the Master List.
Font of Fertility Takedown - This is a high-priority item that needs to be taken care of. It's also a difficult one to tackle because it's not just a 'find-and-replace' sort of thing. It's going to take some rewriting of elements to really get it done properly. My current goal is to get the Beta and Alpha chapters back up first, which should be too difficult, then start back at the beginning. I have about... 50% of the solution developed right now.
AMA Arc 1/2 - Arc 1 has had two eBook-sized edits released to Alpha Reeaders, covering about half of the arc. This month should see the back half divided up and edited as well, meaning new AMA chapters are on the horizon. It's been a lot of fun going back through the story and just tightening things up here and there, and getting to find little places where I can make sure the characters are getting a bit more consistent characterization - writing the original over almost two years meant that some stuff got lost or changed by accident! Including some tattoos and nipple piercings :P
Random Other News
The Literotica audience has gone over NINE THOUSAAAAND!
It's just a fun number, that's all. I'm currently the 27th Most Followed author on Literotica, and if things track as they have been I'll jump a few spots in the next few months before the numbers start getting father apart. Neat!

Where I'm At
To be frank with y'all, I'm stressed. The whole thing with OFG/FoF added on a new layer, but I'm really mostly stressed about how I haven't been able to get my workflow right since I moved. I've mentioned this before, but since I moved I just haven't been able to figure out a new physical space where I feel 'in the zone' so to speak. I know I'm capable of finishing the above Release List. My brain is just scattering in seventeen different directions and getting distracted like crazy.
I'm not happy about it, and I'm feeling it because I know if I was one of you folks seeing another month slip by without an FoF or QTNW I'd be frustrated. They are supposed to be my flagship stories and they get the shaft too often.
I'm also stress-eating, even though I'm eating 'good Keto food' I'm still putting in too many calories and not putting enough out. My weight loss has remained in a plateau. Maybe I need a dog, force me to take myself on walkies to get out of the house for the love of a good pooch.
That's all for now I think - though I feel like I'm forgetting something. Thank you all for your continued support, I still can't believe how much you folks have changed my life and how this community continues to evolve. If you're a Discord person, please check out the server! We'd love to say hi.

Looks like everything else is coming out.... Any update on when FoF will finally progress or what's going on, seems it's been forgotten since it's been forever.

But even more importantly, if Patreon were to check into it and find out I was doing it then that would STILL leave me at risk for losing this entire platform. They DO check off-Patreon related posting/sites and actively attempting to circumvent their ToS is a big No-No.

2024-11-03 19:45:34 +0000 UTCSomething that worked for me during pandemic WFH was having a little ritual to rearrange my computer desk from "home mode" to "work mode". Since you mentioned the chair being a big thing for you, if it's adjustable, maybe you can find a "writing" and "not-writing" configuration. Or maybe get an ottoman to prop your feet up when you're in writing mode.

2024-11-03 03:13:30 +0000 UTCMy new place has some great benefits - a completely isolated office is not one of them. To be fair, I didn't have one before either, but it was a different setup and literally having two different chairs (one for Active Work on PC and one that I sat it for leaning back and writing) made a big difference. Now I don't have room for the other chair, though I have an idea of how I might be able to fix that.

That was something i had to learn when i started working from home almost a decade ago was to have a space for nothing but work. No bed, no kitchen, no living room with the TV. It will definitely help with disconnecting all the other things and leaving some of that stress outside.
