Tuesday Update - 15/10/24

Happy post-Canadian Thanksgiving. I had a long weekend spent with family, but that meant I didn't get nearly as much writing done as I wanted to last week. I did, however, get in a bunch of work on designing that Website I need. It's taking shape pretty well, I just need to finish doing a bunch of description blurbs for stories and a couple of small tweaks, then I'll soft-launch it for you folks to pick apart if there are any issues. I also put in some time to get the future Discord Server ready for a release - there isn't much left to do, just some 'Rules' channels and stuff, so expect that soft-launching soon as well.
What's Coming Up
Starship Repo should post tomorrow, and then I'll spend the rest of the week on the AMA stuff I mentioned last week. I'll hopefully get at least two 'novel drafts' up for Alpha Readers while I'm doing that that would form the first two novel-sized bundles.
After that will be more Sponsored Chapters (15 OFG Chapters, 5 UA, 5 D&D, and the start of a new One-Shot that will go to Alpha readers), followed by FoF and QTNW.
Background Stuff
As I mentioned above, I've got the Website well on it's way. My plan is to finalize it, then post a link for y'all here to take a brief look - the only 'new content' on it will be a bit of stuff in my 'The Author' section about Romance for Men and Erotica vs Erotic Fiction which some of you folks might find interesting.
Also mentioned, the Discord Server is almost ready to go. It mostly just needs a few final touches that'll take an hour or two to get all nicely lain out. I also need to figure out the whole 'Tied to Patreon' roles and how that works, cause if y'all are Patrons you deserve to be recognized for that! And if you aren't a Discord person, don't worry! It's an addition, you won't be missing out on any big news or anything. Just another way for me to communicate with you all, and the folks in the community to chat.

By the end of this month? So within 10 days?! God I hope so.... Love the series, preferred the Lit start better due to the sister part so I just keep pretending lol.

2024-10-20 20:47:03 +0000 UTCIt's not lying my friend, it's setting goals and then hitting roadblocks. Creative work take time, effort and the right mindset. Sometimes I need to set a project aside for a day or two to figure something out while I work on something else, or I need to rewrite a section 6 times to make it work. Delays are unfortunate but they happen. It also means I'm ahead on the AMA stuff so that SHOULD come faster now.
