You weren’t kidding about Joy…..

Robert Giltner

Joy is the gift that keeps on giving Clark

Just want to take a moment to state that your output is awesome. Frequent, high quality, imaginative. And, truly appreciated. <3

The interaction with Tasha is hot, sweet, and awesome. The way that the trio are building her up after Moesche's shit is amazeballs. . BUT.... . The "Finding out" phase of Joy's life is the true star of the chapters. I am on tenterhooks waiting to see what this fallout is going to be. Garrison is *not* going to let her just skate on this one, and now they have a witnessed confession of misdeeds, in addition to her new sneaking around a lawyer's office" stuff.

Expectation of privacy means having cameras in a conference room would be Very Bad for any firm, unless they were brought in for a Deposition or something, but those are *supposed* to be recorded.

Luke Mofford

Chapter 391 mentions "Tasha's nick"

Daedalus Legendre

*head slap* you're right, I fuddled up exactly what his testimony would be towards which was the acts she admitted to and not just the admission of them which his testimony is proof that she did in fact admit to those acts.

Andrew S.

Garrison testifying to it is second-party, not first party. He's not testifying to prove Joy said it, he's testifying to prove Joy did it, but his evidence is that she said she did it. So it is hearsay. It's just admissable hearsay. A recording would still be helpful, of course, and he likely has the right to record what's going on in his own office, especially after security has been called for that person, even in a two-party state.

FlareNight

Hearsay would be John telling him Joy said it, hearing it yourself even by phone makes it first-party testimony and not hearsay. It would be hard to get it kicked on evidentiary procedural grounds, its not even subject to party consent of recording(assuming its a multi-party consent state since we don't have a geographic location of this city) because it *wasn't* a recording.

Chapter 395, there's a small confusion between Becca and Becks

lulskartkski

I can't imagine a law firm having something like that always running in a place where they'll share privileged info. Maybe they'll be smarter now? Imagine if Joy somehow had gotten blackmail material against not just them but Becks too.

FlareNight

Even if Garrison's testimony wouldn't be enough (falls under the hearsay exception of confession against party interest), I'm sure he has a call recording app.

FlareNight

Really hoping there's not some secret security cameras on the conference room or something, though to be fair they KEEP ON ignoring the "no fooling around at work" rule lmao

MasterHarper

Aww man, was looking forwards to it.

Mask

Nice , Joy deserved it.

Psychopuppy

I do believe joy is fucked. Also Becks and Tasha, but the fun way for them.

AndyWanKenobi

That was fucking great! I can't wait for the next batch now!
