Nine months later.... I was just discharged from the hospital on the southern plains a week ago. Wheni went back is for a followup with my surgeon, he, and the PA who tended my incisions site both emphasized that we should be back into social distancing and masks because a substantial outbreak of COVID. People act as if the disease has disappeared. At 78 with a compromised immune system, I can't afford not to pay attention. I'm now going so far as to move into an assisted living facility with an RN on staff, and at least one CNA on duty 24/7. The apartment complex I've been living in isn't too bad, but the university population is back from summer break, returning from all over the world where they have scooped up whatever variants and other diseases are circulating wherever they went. I'm not particularly paranoid, but i am concerned. We all need to be taking reasonable precautions: masks where appropriate, lots of hand washing, limiting who we come in close contact, and liberal use of hand sanitizers. Of course I'm assuming we are all up to date on the appropriate vaccinations as well. I'm changing my sign-off to, "Stay healthy, and stay safe!" The rehab ward I was in at the hospital with about a dozen patients and about 20 or so staff had 4 positive tests last week, and that's about an average week. We up, and stay alive! 2024-03-05 05:59:26 +0000 UTCIt seems that the ones on higher tiers forget that those of of us may not always like the little bits that filter down. I joined BTB and CP, but both know my position. I was once told that "no one listens to you.". Well that's okay. Even here, waiting for the next chapter is....., but waiting on Literotica for 5 to 6 months is not satisfactory. So I collect aside a few coppers each month and pay. You may not want to listen, but you my notice I always say STAY SAFE. That is because the influencer of these stories is still out there. Last year, while partaking in a fundraiser for my DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Chapter, I was infected with COVID-19, and infected my family over Christmas. This year our Commander was infected at a Christmas party 3 days before this year's event. Needless to say, we were short handed. Enjoy your holidays, but Stay Safe.

I'm more interested in what you've got planned for the biker gang. They seem rough, but honest. Maybe a sort of redemption arc and they're sworn in as local sherrifs or something?
