Not sure if it'll stick around in the next version, but at one point you say "air on the side of caution" which you'll want to change to "err". I'm that would be caught in an editing pass, figured I'd save you the time.

2023-01-31 17:37:09 +0000 UTCThis version is quite good. I can understand the revisions you feel you need to make, but I agree Marissa is too good a character to fall completely by the wayside. I look forward to her introduction elsewhere. I can see the overlap issues you are talking about and agree that she would likely fit in well in QT:NW especially if her skills were tweaked a little bit to be more in line with hospitality and events rather than just an extreme hard worker. I think having someone in that developing situation that could handle some of the groups soon to be growing pains with grace would be an interesting foil to either big drama or hand waving as all these people have themselves and their lives upended.

As far as what to do with her... she might be a stand alone you could flesh out the f*cking machine story on... those are alwats fun :)
