HU - Trap Jaw
Added 2016-08-22 14:10:19 +0000 UTCFinally got around to starting on a new batch of Heads Up pics! I am gonna hold off on posting these on my sites until I got enough to do at least a week straight of daily posting, but you lucky patrons get them fresh off the grill and in high res to boot!
The theme for this first week or so of pics is (as I mentioned a while back) Masters of the Universe. Starting off with Trap Jaw!
I always got the vibe that Trap Jaw was the same race as Skeletor (at least the same race he was back when he was Keldor), so in designing this, I figured the logical way for his face to get green was to peel off his skin via severe scarring.
If you had the original Skeletor figure from the old MotU toyline, he had green around the edges of his yellow skull. I like to think that the race Keldor and Kronos/Trap Jaw are have blue skin, green muscles and blood, and yellow bones.
I have a few ideas of where to go next, so expect more of these in the days to come. (TJ here was done as a cool down pic to cap off my night.)

Cool, I always got the vibe since they are both blue (looking into the Gar, seems Sy-klone is one as well, crazy!)

2016-08-22 14:50:00 +0000 UTCyes they are the same race not sure when it got a name somewhere between the 2002 series and now they are Gar a disgraced race of eternia. The was actually a 2002 series related comic that explored Trapjaw’s back-story and how Kronos became TJ. He served keldor but once they were trap behind the wall he thought keldor weak after losing and being disfigured. Kronos amassed an army to take control. Skeletor didn’t take kind to this and so when they fought he used cast a spell or used a potion (I don’t recall) that degraded Kronos face turning it green and then shattered his jaw. The arm went in that fight too. But Skeletor still wanted Kronos cause he had the balls. So Tri-clops fixed him up into the robo-zombie nightmare we all love. It’s a great one spot issue
