I love this guest

"Triples therapy" is still making me giggle: Liz: "It was a brave disclosure!" Brace: silent, sullen, bitterly tired of pretending, nothing is funny anymore Yc: hiss giggles Therapist: "ah, expand on that yc. . . Brace, make sure you're working on your meditative breathing..."

Antithesis: The guest, Dylan Saba. He is imported into this spectacle to provide the Real. He delivers a sober, technically proficient analysis of the "peace deal" as a cynical counter-insurgency tactic. He meticulously outlines the "yellow line," the 58% permanent occupation, the destruction of infrastructure as a means to pressure the civilian base, and the diminishing leverage of the captives. He describes the actual mechanisms of starvation and the establishment of a depopulated buffer zone run by Israeli-backed "gangs and clans."

Andre Kolak

Thesis: The first thirteen minutes. A pathological performance of late-imperial bourgeois decadence. The hosts engage in "deal flow"—not the geopolitical maneuvering of the episode's subject, but the desperate, nihilistic "deal flow" of their own brand. They shill live show tickets with manufactured scarcity ("presumably there's like 50 now... there was 60"), perform self-aware irony about their "fake chipper attitude," and devolve into pure commodity fetishism (a riff on which celebrities would be "delicious to eat"). This is the podcast as pure spectacle, a self-referential loop of consumerism.

Rabbit is bougie? They’re everywhere. I could pick one up off the street where I live. Have you ever been to an asian grocery store? I’m pretty sure americans are just picky about meat.

Selecao9

Does anyone else find it weird that they could talk about the ceasefire for this long without mentioning Doha? This was nearly an hour and a half of barely-informed speculation on what led to the current deal. Can’t wait to hear more of this hard hitting analysis on “turbulence”

Starting a new service here called the “Bouj-Anon” tracker where all the moments where the hosts pull down their pants and accidentally reveal their secret yupp-coded tendencies. This one features Liz talking about that one food so bougie even Whole Foods couldn’t create a market for it, a white mom’s favorite “controversial” conversation piece, rabbit meat!

11/19 is now sold out. I was too slow... If anyone is selling a ticket, LMK.

I have a lantern that belonged to Jimmy Hoffa. It was given to my mom’s old boss Alan Foyy(not sure if that’s spelled right) who had numerous dealings with Hoffa. anyways that’s it nothing too spooky I guess
