So, this video is mostly just information to remind me how to use this thing down the road, but it does show using an INSERT to create a print in-place hinge for 3D printing. We need to add to KIT OPS the ability to transfer an INSERT from one object to the other and that would actually make things even easier than they are shown in this video-- as we can just duplicate the INSERT in place and apply it to the lid and then delete the parts we don't need.
New version of KIT OPS coming out soon that has the ability to convert all of your existing Blender assets into INSERTS automatically including adding the proper thumbnails. It also will have a couple of other interesting features, including the ability to open the selected KPACK folder.
