New update and a free dirt shader for you
Added 2022-02-08 18:44:05 +0000 UTCHey guys, just want to announce it today were releasing a brand new update to SIMPLE SCIFI PRO We've added six new DPACKS with over 12 collections and a brand-new panels generator which can create some pretty cool panel assemblies. And, were also adding in a really cool dirt shader where you can now add it to your scene and create realistic dirt and grime to your models.
If you haven't yet purchased Pro, you should consider because our next update will raise the price as we will be adding an add-on to the product to make it even easier to use and more powerful.
And, if your still using simple SIMPLE SCIFI FREE, there's a new update for you as well. It has some new randomization features that you might be interested in.
So, the cool part is there's a new dirt node group shader in the PRO version, and I've included it here for free. Check out the video to see how to use it (it's a KIT OPS Material INSERT).

2022-02-17 13:58:12 +0000 UTCYes, you are correct. You can either use displacement, or you can work directly with the geometry. Working with a geometry in most cases is much faster and results in better final renderings.

2022-02-10 23:08:33 +0000 UTCThanks for this update Chipp! I think he's asking if there is a separate file in the BM or Gumroad downloads for the dirt node. I own the PRO version and I don't see any files other than a .blend and a .txt in my BM downloads - so I'm assuming the files cw_dirt_2022.png and cw_dirt_2022.blend you have included here are the ones we have to put in the master folder of Kit Ops.
