Hey gang,
I know it's been awhile. Lot's going on. Many of you heard about my father's passing. Thanks so much for the well wishes. Only 7 days afterwards, my mother-in-law passed as well. They both lived with us on the ranch here, in a duplex we built for them away from the main area. They were 90 and 82 respectively-- and were the best of friends. Very sad, but they both lived great lives and we are reminded of it with all the wonderful things they did for our family.
I'm crawling out from it all, and decided to spend some time in my favorite pastime, creating stuff in Blender. Today, I'm sharing with you all a really nice set of materials, I call "Multi-Texture" materials. These are create for distressed surfaces, as you can see in the video and image included. They work great in both EEVEE and Cycles, but if you use Cycles, be sure to use Blender 2.92+ as they use the ambient node which isn't supported in earlier versions of Optix.
I'm also including the scene file, just in case you want to take a look.
