Please welcome the latest member of my Smart Doll family, North!

As always, it's an anime-type sculpt (aka North Anime) in Tea skin color.

North is my first Evolve frame Smart Doll. My first impressions of Evolve are really good, but I'll write more about it later.

I ordered North before going to Japan, but I've arranged to pick her up at the Mirai Store in Tokyo. I got her on the 16th May, just a day before going to Kyoto for the further part of my Japan trip. (I'll post some pics from Mirai Store later)

These are the first photos of North. On the first day in Kyoto, I've been sightseeing Higashiyama ("eastern mountain"), where many, many temples and shrines are located.

Photos were taken at:

Yasaka-jinja - iconic shrine very close to downtown Kyoto. It's open 24/7, looks beautiful during the day and at night, and it's often featured in anime. You can also see it in Shelter music video :)
Nanzen-ji - at the waterway (aqueduct) and inside, in the garden
Philospher's Path - beautiful, scenic walk along a stream with many temples and shrines along it; must be gorgeous during cherry blossom but unfortunately it was long over
Ginkaku-ji - aka Silver Pavillon, is not as impressive as Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavillon) but is my favorite of the two. Beautiful garden, with amazing moss, and not too crowded (unlike its golden counterpart).
