Soooooo....

I was doing so good, guys. So so good. And then everything came to a grinding hault.

My teenager started complaining of stomach pain last week while at her father and I's house. It was bad enough that we were concerned and took her to urgent care because she was throwing up. They sent her home with anti nausea meds. When it didn't get better, we took her back. At this point, she was doubled over in pain. They sent her home and told us to get her some over the counter gas medication.

Flash forward two days later and she is in surgery for a burst appendix.

Both times, her father and I asked about her appendix. Both times we were told it wasn't that. But hey, guess what? It was. She went septic for a bit and was in the hospital for five days. She is now home, but damn did life get put on hold for a bit. It was a lot of running back and forth to the hospital, keeping the younger syblings calm about it all, and a lot of sleepless nights.

She is doing great now and life is getting back to normal, but there are no new developments for the game just simply because there hasn't been time to write. I'm behind on Patreon and will be trying to get that stuff written this weekend.
