Got an extra work day in today. Thank you to my oldest for watching the two youngest. :) Today's goal is to get the poly route for the next chapter off to the beta readers. That one came the easiest to me because there is a certain thing that happens to Milo in this chapter that was just a striking idea in my mind. It's what actually led me to go down the route I am with the rest of the book. Thank the feral trash child!
This week is kind of a cleanup week. After I get the route out, there are a few bugs that I need to tend to, along with tweaking the end of last chapter so it fits with this one. I also need to write the rest of my Patreon shorts for the month. So, a little more of a chaotic week because I'm jumping around to different things, but hopefully it will set me up well for Monday where I plan to start Bella's route. My goal is to have the poly route out this month and Bella's out at the latest, the start of June.
As for personal stuff, I'm in the midst of not liking my writing again. However, there was a really good quote I read not too long ago that I think helps when these situations arise. When you really love your writing, you are writing at the level you are currently at. When you don't like your writing, you have learned and advanced in your skill. So, I guess the hours upon hours of reading that I am doing as of late have been paying off.
