I am going to try to start keeping up with a weekly dev blog. I'm warning you now, it might turn more into a ramble from me.

This week, I decided to scrap the entire second half of book two because it was not inspiring to me and it made me not want to write. Risky, probably, considering I'm on chapter eight, but oh do I think it paid off already. I cannot wait to start up at work again and really dive into the meat of it. Chapters might take a bit to get out because each romance option will probably have a different chapter feel to it, but I might also just release each route on Patreon and then when it is all complete, let it go public. I haven't decided. But that way, routes as they are written and edited can go up.

I have a few major coding errors to fix this weekend. Not my favorite to do but I think I've narrowed it all down. I got to fit that in between my daughters R&B performance, Dnd night, and filming a podcast.

That brings me to an entirely different thing. I'm doing a podcast. I have two friends that I've known for almost thirty years now. Somehow, we all wound up living within two miles of each other in our adult life. So we decided to start a podcast with each other where we find strange topics each week and just kind of teach each other about them. It won't be about until October but I'm still pretty excited.

Also considering putting together a WordAnvil for the Night Market. It would be a great place to put the lore and to also just have a coherent place for all the pictures. I really want to do a map too.

And that's going to be it for now because my four year old doesn't believe in bedtime so I need to go be a mean mom and tell her to stop reading Hungry Caterpillar and keeping the seven year old awake for her own amusement.
