After they managed to subdue the evil goddess, Eris, not wanting to be anymore part in this, immediately undo both fusions and went back on her own, leaving Kazuma with the rest of the exhausted girls. To their surprise, being a part of the dark goddess caused some of her residue power to remain with the girls, causing Aqua and Darkness to become more buxom than before, making Megumin to become very jealous. As the sun set, the squad left the forest they were in and went to a local bathhouse. As Kazuma's personality still reside in the girls, they soon began playing with one another. Later, after they went home, Kazuma took Darkness and Aqua for a little "education" to make extra sure that they are back under his command.

However, unknown to the gang, Wiz, being a lich, was able to retain the dark goddess's personality. Thus, her own personality was overthrown and she become a vessel for the dark goddess. Once the four had left the forest, Wiz began turning her attention to the still unconscious Yunyun. With her magic, Wiz copied the dark goddess's personality into Yunyun's mind and gave her a small portion of the goddess's residue powers. Soon, Yunyun. like Aqua and Darkness, gradually grew more and more voluptuous and became the second vessel. Together with Wiz, the two of them would plot to get revenge on Eris so that they could have Kazuma all to themselves.
