I never felt too happy with how the old micros looked, if you can even remember what they looked like, since I only used them a handful of times.
They were ugly. My solution? Remove their faces!
The idea is that I wanted to make micros that didn't look like regular models that were only scaled down. I also wanted to have a simple model that I can use hundreds of in case I wanted to fill up a scene or maybe even do some simulations with them. They're pretty inexpensive, since they're not visually complex and are made up of around 400 polys.
I'm not sure if they should at least have simple facial features but i'll just go with whatever looks good to me. They're not totally finished yet.
I'll probably use them in the next animation. I'll have plenty of ideas now that i'm not limited to POV
