Harry Potter snake life

Requested by MarcusSLazarus

Privet drive 4 a quiet place from the outside, nothing special, harry thought from the cupboard, his bedroom. Then he heard a loud sound, his cousin was awake and as usual he was yelling for his breakfast. Harry sighed and got up from his makeshift bed on the floor. He quickly dressed and made his way to the kitchen, where Aunt Petunia was already bustling about, preparing breakfast. Dudley was sitting at the table, whining about wanting more bacon. Harry quietly took a seat at the table, knowing that any attention drawn to himself would only lead to trouble. As he ate his meager portion of toast, he couldn't help but wish for something more than this dull existence with the Dursleys.

Harry overheard Petunia mentioning a trip to the zoo, and his ears perked up. It had been years since he had been anywhere exciting. Despite knowing that any outing with the Dursleys would likely involve Dudley's complaints and Aunt Petunia's sharp commands, Harry couldn't help but feel hopeful at the idea of leaving Privet Drive, even for a few hours. As he finished breakfast in silence, Harry daydreamed about the wonders he might see at the zoo and how freeing it would be to escape his dreary life briefly.

Hearing Petunia command him to get ready for their trip Harry quickly finished his breakfast and hurried back to his cupboard to change into slightly less worn-out clothes. He grabbed his old, oversized jacket and put it on, trying to hide as much of himself as possible. Despite the excitement of going out, he knew better than to show signs of happiness in front of the Dursleys. As he emerged from his room, Aunt Petunia handed him a small amount of money for emergencies and reminded him sternly to behave himself in public. Harry nodded silently, knowing that any slip-up would result in punishment when they returned home.

one car drive later.

As they drove to the zoo in the Dursleys' cramped car, Harry stared out of the window, watching the world pass by in a blur. Dudley was whining about wanting to see his favorite animals first, while Aunt Petunia kept reminding Harry to keep an eye on his cousin. Despite the discomfort of being squished between Dudley and Aunt Petunia in the backseat, Harry couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation building within him. The prospect of seeing new sights and experiencing a different environment than Privet Drive was enough to momentarily lift his spirits.

As they arrived at the zoo, Harry's excitement grew as he caught glimpses of exotic animals through the entrance gates. The sound of children laughing and the chatter of families filled the air, creating a lively atmosphere that was a stark contrast to his usual quiet life at Privet Drive. Dudley rushed ahead, eager to see his favorite exhibit, leaving Harry trailing behind with Aunt Petunia who kept a close watch on him.

As they approached the reptilian house, Harry's curiosity piqued. The air inside was warm and humid, a stark difference from the cool autumn day outside. The hissing of snakes and the rustling of scales filled the room, sending shivers down Harry's spine. Aunt Petunia urged them to move along quickly, clearly uncomfortable in the presence of so many slithering creatures.

Harry heard many strange voices in the reptile house when few people were around to create the noise. Following Petunia, they quickly left the reptile house behind and ventured into the next section of the zoo.

The day continued as they explored different exhibits, from majestic big cats to playful primates. Harry was captivated by the various species and their behaviors, his excitement growing with each new discovery. Despite Aunt Petunia's constant reminders to stay close and watch Dudley, Harry felt a rare sense of freedom at Privet Drive.

Nearing the end of the day, with most of the visitors leaving the zoo, Harry waited for Dudley to return from the bathroom. His cousin had eaten too much and felt unwell. Harry took the chance to wander off alone, eager to explore more of the zoo before they left. He was drawn towards the reptilian house once again, curious about where all the voices were coming from.

Entering the reptilian house once more, Harry felt a sense of calm wash over him as he observed the various snakes and lizards peacefully coiled or basking under heat lamps. The dim lighting created an eerie yet intriguing atmosphere that drew him further into the exhibit. As he walked deeper into the reptilian house, Harry noticed a peculiar glass enclosure tucked away in a corner, seemingly unnoticed by other visitors.

Harry approached the glass enclosure with cautious curiosity. Inside, he saw a magnificent creature unlike anything he had ever encountered before. It was a majestic snake, its scales shimmering in the dim light, and its eyes fixed on Harry as if studying him. He noticed the snake's tongue flickering in and out, sensing his presence.

Harry's eyes widened in surprise everytime the snake's tongue flickered when he heard a voice. As the snake's tongue flickered, Harry heard a voice speaking softly in his mind. The words seemed to be coming from the snake itself, and Harry was both amazed and puzzled by this unexpected communication. Harry suddenly heard himself hiss back "Hello, young boy," the snake's voice echoed in Harry's mind.

Startled but intrigued, Harry responded tentatively, "Can you understand me?" The snake nodded slowly, its gaze unwavering. This encounter felt surreal yet oddly comforting to Harry.

Harry found himself engrossed in a silent conversation with the snake, exchanging thoughts and questions without uttering a single word out loud. The snake introduced itself as Seraphina, a magical serpent.

"I'm Harry." he introduced himself, feeling a sense of connection with this extraordinary creature.

Seraphina's head turned back and forth almost like it was inspecting him. "You don't look like the other visitors here, Harry," Seraphina observed.

Shrugging, Harry said, "My aunt and uncle don't like me much," explaining why he looked different from the other visitors. Seraphina's eyes seemed to reflect understanding as she listened to Harry.

"Sometimes, those who are different have the most extraordinary stories," she replied softly.

"Well, I don't think my story is that interesting. I was stuck under stairs living a life that felt like a prison," Harry said with resignation.

Seraphina's gaze softened, and she gently interjected, "Do not underestimate the power of your own journey, young Harry. Every path is unique and significant in its own way."

"Well, talking with a snake is certainly something." Harry chuckled nervously, realizing the peculiarity of conversing with a snake. Seraphina's presence felt oddly comforting to him; she seemed to understand his struggles in a way no human ever could. As they continued their silent exchange, Harry felt a newfound sense of acceptance and companionship in the most unexpected place.

Realizing the time, Seraphina glanced around the dimly lit room. The caretaker would soon return for the evening rounds, and she knew it was time to take action. "Harry? would like to be free from them?" As the caretaker's footsteps drew closer, Seraphina fixed her gaze on Harry with a solemn intensity.

"What do you mean?" As the caretaker's footsteps grew louder, Seraphina's eyes conveyed a sense of urgency.

"I can offer you a way out, Harry," she whispered. Harry's heart raced with a mixture of fear and hope at the snake's cryptic words. "I'll show you." Harry's heart pounded with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension as Seraphina's words hung in the air. The caretaker's footsteps grew louder, signaling the imminent return.

The caretaker turned the corner, a young woman clearly in her mid to late twenties. "Oh hello young man," she greeted Harry with a warm smile. Seraphina's presence seemed to fade into the shadows as the caretaker approached them. "shouldn't you be leaving the zoo by now? It's getting late," the caretaker gently reminded Harry.

Before Harry could respond, the caretaker's gaze shifted to Seraphina. Her eyes were fixed on the snake. Harry looked up at the woman, surprised that she seemed completely focused on Seraphina as if he wasn't there anymore. Looking closely at the young woman, Harry noticed her eyes were filled with a spiraling pattern. His heart raced as he observed the caretaker's strange reaction to Seraphina. The young woman appeared entranced by the snake, her eyes reflecting a mesmerizing spiraling pattern. A shiver ran down Harry's spine; unsure of what was happening before him.

Turning to Seraphina, "What did you do to her?" Harry felt a surge of panic rising within him. Seraphina's gaze remained steady, her slitted eyes revealing nothing but an enigmatic calmness. The caretaker seemed to be in a trance-like state, her breathing slow and rhythmic as she continued to stare at the snake with unwavering focus.

"Nothing wrong," Seraphina said. "Tell us your name." Seraphina asked the caretaker.

"My name's Charlotte," the caretaker said.

"This is Harry, Charlotte. he seems like a noice boy doesn't he?" Seraphina's words seemed to have a soothing effect on Charlotte, as her gaze shifted from the snake to Harry with a warm smile.

"Yes, he does," she replied softly. Harry felt a sense of relief wash over him as the tension in the air dissipated. Seraphina's presence no longer felt ominous; instead, there was an air of camaraderie among the three of them.

"Harry's had a rough time. Would you like to take care of him?" Charlotte's expression softened as she turned to Harry, a look of genuine concern in her eyes.

"Of course, I can help you," she said kindly.

"Now Harry, I can give you a life of love and comfort with Charlotte." Harry felt confused yet comforted by the sudden turn of events. Seraphina's offer seemed too good to be true, but there was an undeniable warmth coming from both Seraphina and Charlotte. "All I need you to do is trust me with your life and let me take care of you," Seraphina continued, her voice gentle yet persuasive.

Harry hesitated, unsure how to interpret the situation. The offer tempted him, but something felt off. He glanced between Seraphina and Charlotte. "Will she stay like this?" Harry looked at Charlotte.

Harry's question hung in the air, a moment of tension palpable among the trio. Seraphina's gaze shifted from Harry to Charlotte, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "Charlotte will be just fine," she reassured Harry with a gentle tone. Charlotte nodded in agreement, her demeanor still calm and welcoming.

"Charlotte, do you have a home?" Seraphina interrupted, her voice soft yet commanding. Charlotte nodded.

"I have a small cozy house nestled in the woods not far from here," Charlotte replied. "It's a peaceful place, perfect for someone like Harry to find solace and healing."

"So, Harry?" Seraphina asked.

Harry hesitated, his mind racing with conflicting thoughts and emotions. On one hand, the offer of a loving home and care from Charlotte seemed like a dream come true after his tumultuous past. On the other hand, doubts lingered in his mind about this sudden turn of events orchestrated by Seraphina. Despite his uncertainty, Harry couldn't deny the genuine kindness emanating from both Seraphina and Charlotte.

Nodding Harry took a deep breath, feeling a mix of apprehension and hope stirring within him. He knew that this decision could potentially change the course of his life in ways he couldn't predict.

"Thank you for trusting me. To make this work, I need to hypnotize you like Charlotte," Seraphina said. Harry braced himself as a sense of anticipation built while she moved closer. The snake slowly approached, pressing her head against the glass separating them.

As Harry felt the snake's hypnotic gaze fixated on him, a sense of calm washed over him. Seraphina's soft voice guided him into a state of deep relaxation, his breathing slowing down as he focused on her words. With each soothing instruction, Harry felt himself drifting into a trance-like state, his mind becoming more receptive to the suggestions being planted by Seraphina.

Feeling a sense of weightlessness and surrender, Harry let go of his lingering doubts as he delved deeper into the trance induced by Seraphina. The outside world faded away, leaving only the sound of her gentle voice echoing in his mind. Images flickered before him like distant memories, blending reality with a dreamlike haze.

"Free me from this place, Harry," Seraphina commanded. Harry felt determined and purposeful as her command echoed in his mind. With newfound clarity, he understood the gravity of the situation and the role he needed to play. Without knowing what he was doing, he used his magical abilities to remove the glass for Seraphina to leave.

"Come," Seraphina slithered out gracefully, her scales shimmering in the dim light of the room. Charlotte and harry followed. As Seraphina made her graceful exit, Harry and Charlotte followed her lead, their hearts filled with a mix of excitement and trepidation. "Harry, create a snake for Charlotte to put back in my cage."

"I don't know how." Harry stammered,

"Concentrate and feel the magic within you," Seraphina urged, her voice gentle yet firm. Harry closed his eyes and focused on the swirling energy inside him, trying to shape it into something tangible. Slowly, a shimmering form began to take shape in his hands, coalescing into a small snake made of pure magical essence.

"Good, now make it larger and try to match it with my appearance," Seraphina instructed. Harry concentrated harder, willing the magical snake to grow in size and mimic the colors and patterns of Seraphina's scales. With a surge of determination, Harry successfully transformed the small snake into a magnificent creature that mirrored Seraphina's beauty.

"Charlotte, put the snake back in its cage," Seraphina commanded. Charlotte hesitated for a moment, then cautiously approached the shimmering creature. With a deep breath, she reached out and gently guided the magical snake back into its cage, where it curled up peacefully as if it belonged there all along.

"Now, Charlotte, take us to your home." Charlotte nodded, her eyes filled with awe and wonder at the magical display she had just witnessed. With a newfound sense of purpose, she led Seraphina and Harry towards the parking lot where her car awaited them. As they drove to Charlotte's home, Seraphina lay with her coils over Harry who sat in the back.

As they approached Charlotte's home, Seraphina noticed the thick woods surrounding it, their shadows dancing in the moonlight. leaving the car the threesome entered Charlotte's home. "Here we are." Seraphina admired the quaint and cozy interior of Charlotte's home, adorned with trinkets and plants that gave it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She slithered gracefully through the living room, her scales glistening softly in the ambient light.

"Harry, this will be our new one. Do you like it?" Seraphina's words hung in the air, a question that carried the weight of a significant decision. Harry glanced around the cozy home, feeling a sense of comfort and safety in its walls.

"It's nice. Should I go to the cupboard?" Harry noticed a faint glimmer coming from the cupboard in the corner of the room.

"What do you mean?" Charlotte asked, confused.

Harry slowly opened the cupboard door, revealing a storage closet filled with various food boxes for cooking in my room under the stairs. "This is not my bedroom?" Harry asked, confused.

"Did you sleep in a cupboard?" Charlotte asked, bending through her knees cupping his cheek with her hands. Harry noded slowly, "You will never sleep in another cupboard under stairs ever again." Seraphina watched the exchange between Harry and Charlotte with a mixture of curiosity and concern. She could sense there was more to Harry's past than met the eye, and she made a mental note to delve deeper into his history when the time was right.

"Tonight, you will stay in Charlotte's bed, Harry," Seraphina said. "Tomorrow, we will try to prepare your room for you."

"Really?" Charlotte's heart swelled with compassion as she saw the gratitude in Harry's eyes. She knew that from that moment on, they were not just housemates but a family.

Seraphina slithered to the side, making space for Harry to climb into bed. The warmth and softness of the blankets enveloped him, a stark contrast to the cold solitude of his previous sleeping arrangements.

As Harry drifted off to sleep, Seraphina coiled protectively around him, her emerald eyes glowing softly in the darkness. Charlotte watched over them both with a smile, grateful for this newfound bond that had brought them together under one roof.

Tomorrow would be a new day filled with possibilities and challenges, but for now, in the safety of Charlotte's home, they found solace in each other's company.

The next morning, Harry woke up alone in bed. He quietly made his way downstairs. Peering over the stair railing, he saw Charlotte in the kitchen, busy with the pans. Harry walked towards her. He observed how effortlessly Charlotte moved around the kitchen with a clear purpose in each action. The smell of sizzling bacon and freshly brewed coffee filled the air, causing Harry's stomach to growl in anticipation. It had been a while since he last woke up to such a cozy scene.

Charlotte turned and saw Harry standing in the doorway. "Harry, good morning," Charlotte greeted him warmly. "I hope you slept well." Harry felt a sense of warmth and comfort wash over him as he took in the sight of Charlotte bustling about the kitchen. The simple act of preparing breakfast seemed like a luxury to him, one that he had not experienced in a long time. As he sat down at the table, Charlotte placed a plate of steaming bacon and eggs in front of him, along with a cup of tea.

"Thank you." Harry sipped the tea gratefully, feeling the warmth seep into his bones. Charlotte smiled at him kindly, her eyes reflecting a genuine sense of care and concern. As they ate breakfast together, Harry couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for this newfound family that had taken him in without hesitation.

Seraphina entered through the door, gracefully slithering her way over to the kitchen. Seraphina coiled around Harry's chair, nuzzling against his leg in a show of affection that warmed his heart. As Harry finished his breakfast, Seraphina made her way in front of Charlotte and Harry activating her hypnotic powers Seraphina's emerald eyes glowed softly as she focused her hypnotic powers on Charlotte and Harry. The room seemed to shimmer with a faint, otherworldly light as Seraphina's gaze held them both in a gentle trance. Charlotte and Harry felt a sense of calm wash over them, "Now Charlotte I want you to spend the entire day with harry playing games and having fun" Seraphina's voice echoed softly in their minds. Charlotte and Harry nodded in unison, feeling a deep sense of relaxation and willingness to comply with Seraphina's suggestion.

As the hypnotic trance lifted, Charlotte and Harry exchanged a knowing glance, both feeling a sense of excitement at the prospect of spending the day together. Seraphina slithered away gracefully, leaving them to make plans for their day of fun and games. Charlotte suggested they start with a walk in the nearby park, followed by a visit to the toy store.

Returning home Charlotte smiled as Harry suggested they bake some cookies together. The aroma of freshly baked cookies filled the air as Harry and Charlotte laughed and chatted while mixing ingredients in a bowl.

After enjoying their freshly baked cookies, Charlotte and Harry decided to take a break and relax in the cozy living room. They sat on the comfortable couch, savoring the sweetness of their treats.

Charlotte suggested they watch a movie, and Harry eagerly agreed. They settled in, with Seraphina curling up at their feet, content to be a part of the cozy scene. As the movie played on the screen, Charlotte and Harry found themselves laughing at the funny parts and sharing quiet moments during the touching scenes.

Charlotte and Harry spent the rest of the afternoon immersed in the movie, occasionally pausing to discuss their favorite characters or predict what would happen next. Seraphina watched them with a contented expression, pleased to see her suggestion bringing joy and bonding between her newfound friends. As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow through the windows, Charlotte suggested they have a picnic in the backyard to enjoy the beautiful evening. Harry loved the idea and quickly gathered a blanket while Charlotte prepared some sandwiches and snacks.

After a delicious dinner that left him feeling content and satisfied, the evening slowly transitioned into nightfall. As Harry made his way to his cozy bed, a warm smile graced his lips, reflecting the sense of peace and comfort enveloping him. The contrast between this tranquil moment and the tumultuous environment he had endured at the Dursleys' residence could not have been more stark. With each soft pillow he settled into, it felt as though he was leaving behind all traces of past hardships, embracing a newfound serenity in his own space where he finally felt truly at home.

I didn't think overcomplicating it would help. I'm glad you enjoy it. maybe a second part in the future.
