(TIME-LAPSE) Pt2 of Makoto
Added 2023-01-05 19:25:45 +0000 UTCFrom here you can see me color Makoto and also fix her face. This is a 30 second time-lapse of me altering her and getting her ready for the background, but I have to admit that the face of Makoto is the HARDEST for me to draw. I'm not exactly even sure why.
You'd see me continuing to alter the face of Makoto to the point where I had to pull up a bunch of references (not shown) to kind of study her eye shape and see what exactly it was about her hair that would make her design more appealing. Makoto was the character that made me pick up the game. (Ann is my second favorite girl, Makoto being my third) but I think she's the hardest to draw because she gives off a very cool and mature look which I'm not fully comfortable with. I hope you enjoy this nonetheless to see how I tinker with faces. To me, the head is basically 50% of the piece. I'm convinced that if you can draw a pretty face then everything else is kind of fair game so I tinkered around with it the most.
I think I'm happy with the result of this Makoto.
At this point I have completed Makoto and Ann for the new artbook and will be continuing on to Haru and Futaba's pieces. Sumire I have plenty of, but of course I will be drawing more pieces of her to fill the artbook and will have more new ones for her!
