PATREON IS NOW OPEN! (October 2022 NOTICE)

To celebrate the opening of my Patreon, all of my patrons from all tiers for just this opening month will receive the full set of Sumire Emotes as a big thank you for supporting me all this time! (Offer ends 11/19; after which the Sumire emotes will be locked to tier 4 only!) The Sumire emote pack includes 7 new emotes that are formatted ready-to-use for discord. (I tested them out and they look GREAT! I am very happy about the outcome and I hope that you will be ecstatic about them too!)

PLANS FOR PATREON

I have a couple of things planned for Patreon! Right now Patreon is *incredibly* new to me, I did not think that I would be opening a Patreon, but I'm incredibly excited to navigate this and I have a couple of plans in mind.

• NSFW CONTENT: I'm interested in pursuing and branching out into other areas. NSFW content is something that I can see myself branching out to - for starters, it's actually quite fun to draw NSFW content as I've been seeing for myself. The way that the body curves and muscles work really interests me. This sounds kind of silly but it's actually incredibly valuable in terms of learning anatomy and shading to me as well. When I'm able to focus solely on how the body curves and how bodies are shaded, I think it's quite good practice. NSFW is an area that provides me to have more variety in what I'm able to draw and different new scenarios. If I'm able to have more fun with variety, I hope that it'll help me hone my skills and challenge me to grow as an artist.
• HI-RES CONTENT: I've always been very open with sharing my work as an artist and I will intend on keeping my SFW content free to view on all of my platforms, but I will be releasing more hi-res content on my Patreon. Please feel free to use them for personal use, but please be respectful and refrain from redistributing the high-resolution content for karma farming, likes, etc. on any additional social media. I have social media on almost all platforms that I'll be using to share free content, but I would much prefer for the hi-resolution or non-watermarked content to stay as personal usage only.
• SCRAPPED CONTENT: This involves all of my scrapped content and sketches that I will basically never release to the general public.
• PATREON POLLS: I am moving all of my polls to Patreon! As long as you are a patron, you can vote on the community poll to see what you want next. At least once a month I will have a poll on what to draw and anyone is free to comment on the poll to see what would be something that they might want to see. I will take suggestions for polls occasionally. Sometimes near conventions, I will work on full illustrations based off of what patrons want and they will be updated in my shop as a 11 x 17" print or mini prints afterward. Most of the time they will be simple fanart selected by the community.
• WORK IN PROGRESS / COMMENTARY POSTS: This is something that I'm really looking forward to. I genuinely would love to document my work in progress with additional commentary to let people know what goes on in my brain. A lot of the time I admit that there's not much that goes into my brain unless it's for a large piece that I'm trying to make for a convention, but if I have any thoughts that go into making a piece I'll upload them here with any work in progress that I have!
• ALTERNATE SETS: Includes some NSFW variants of a piece or different outfits, different expressions, etc., I often come up with some alternates to different pieces and that's solely because I do a lot of editing once I'm actually done drawing something so I tend to have some variations of certain works to include which I think would be great alternatives. Some people might like them, some people might not, but hopefully you'll find something that you'll enjoy. ----> Something that I think I'd really enjoy doing down the road is to explore different "themes", like "theme of the month": race queen, etc. and draw different characters in that theme.
• COMMISSIONS: I'm often times not very public about when my commissions are open, but for tier 4 patrons my commissions are guaranteed and my "speed slot" discounted commissions are guaranteed. Speed slot commissions were typically made by me, for $40 I will draw you any character with any prompt you'd like - but executed completely by me. Speed slots are commissions that are usually pushed out very quickly by me. You provide the character, the idea (general expression, general pose, general execution) and I will provide a piece that I believe would best suit the idea. These slots are not meant to be a long process so please understand that you are paying for a commission in which you bring the idea and I bring the execution, which could be very fun! They were only offered during times before conventions, but they will be available once a month to every tier 4 patron.

I'm always looking for different ways to expand on my Patreon. This is my welcome message and to thank you for considering to be my patron. This will be my most rockiest transition to any social media yet as I want to make this an experience and really be selling you a product that not only makes you feel like you've gotten your money's worth, but provided you with a reason to support me in the long-run as an artist. I'll be making adjustments throughout the rest of the year to try to transition into Patreon as one of my main platforms, but I will always continue to post things for free on Twitter, Reddit, and Instagram. At the end of the day, I'm extremely grateful for my audience and the support that I've received.

I do not intend on pay-walling all of my material or even really pay-walling even half of my material. I will always remain to post content for free as I know that not everyone is able to financially support me, especially when there are many artists and many other finances to cover in everyone's lives.

I'm always humbled to know that I started extremely small off as an artist who struggled a lot to fill commission slots or wasn't even being taken up on offers to draw for free. It means a lot to me for people to be here to support me even through a like, a comment, or a share - it makes my day to hear that people love my art and love what I do and for that I'm extremely grateful to be practicing art and drawing new things that make other people happy. I only hope that I can continue to evolve as an artist and you will continue to support me!
