WIP Ballet Leotard + Tights
Added 2020-02-13 04:46:28 +0000 UTCMaking this tough sh*t since monday and it's still looks not as good as I want. Needs more cool retopology, and collision fixes, because right now it's just a huge pile of triangles without any optimization.
And I need your opinion: should I do leotard and tights separately or as one item? Because there are advantages and disadvantages for both decisions.

Well, I have some tricks to make this two pieces item with alpha magic to make it possible to use separately and together both. But success depends on result of experiments. Yeah, this situation, when buttcrack "squish" panties to spider web line it's a hard time for clothes creators :) but, as you've said alpha channels may be a good decision to solve that.

2020-02-13 13:27:25 +0000 UTCI think most prefer separate items so they can mix and match, but I also understand the frustration of trying to get one sim fabric to sit on top of another. Seems like the area around the butt crack is always a nightmare. I've even had to create and alpha layer in that area for the tights so they didn't poke through the leotard. For your sanity, making it one piece will probably be better. I really wish VAM would have a slider similar to the alpha parameter tab that let's you determine which material sits on top of another.
