I give him a little credit, but he's clearly not even trying to figure out Adrian. He just wants it easy with her it looks like.

It really adds to the "impoverished" feel and tone of the setting. I know I've seen enough apartments that look like that. Also, I feel bad that Adrian seems to have fallen for "that guy." Glad she's out of it, but I wonder where it will lead and affect her current feeling over clothes. Glad we finally get to meet Ali's father, even if he isn't the most nice of people, if we learned anything from chapter 2. Thank you again!
