The Seventeen Magic Hour

This emotional and inspiring documentary charts Seventeen’s incredible journey from playing to fewer than 800 people to selling out stadiums in Japan and becoming one of the biggest K-Pop acts in the world.

Hoshi, Seungkwan, and Dino guide us through a beautifully produced show, seated on a special set and joined by fans (CARATs) from across the globe who are all gearing up for Seventeen’s biggest concert yet, held in Yokohama.

The documentary interweaves past and present with touching effect — showing early interviews and concert footage alongside scenes of today’s triumphant success. Perhaps most moving of all is how much the group continues to centre their fans, taking over the entire city of Yokohama with events, stamp tours, and fan experiences designed to make everyone feel part of the magic.

A powerful tribute to growth, gratitude, and the unbreakable bond between Seventeen and their CARATs.

I haven't watched the video before, so I am glad I managed to enjoy it with you. I feel so envious of all the fans who are able to watch not only concerts but also to enjoy the City experience.

Emma.

they did the seventeen the city in LA for their most recent concert, and i will say, it was the most enjoyable weekend i've had haha and then i ended off that weekend with the concert and then camped for the first time for their pop up right after the show. I've never experienced an artist's concert on that caliber before, it wasnt just the concert, it was everything leading up to it too. i loved it so much. felt like i spent my entire weekend with seventeen instead of just one night at their concert.

in regards to the "Sonogong", it is just the korean name for Sun Wukong, which is a main character in the chinese novel Journey to the West. Super's lyrics reference a lot of things from journey to the west and from dragon ball z (which btw dbz is also heavily inspired by Journey to the West). So Sonogong is just the korean name for the monkey king haha

This was so good, I teared up at a few bits and especially at the end seeing the carats. And I related a lot to them, too. I have never been on a solo tour even in my country, but I went to Thailand and Korea thanks to Seventeen. And made such great memories. I even befriended so many amazing people, fellow carats, not just online but even at the concert, while waiting in queues and in the venue, in hotels haha. So yeah, it's amazing! Also similar to the Japan restaurant, in Korea I had been to the restaurant where a GoSe Pie in Sky was shot, and even there we got a 4 cut photo of our bias! Which is so sweet! And our drink had a piece of ice in a diamond shape in rose quartz and serenity color! And for PCs, even I am an introvert, but people really freely exchange PCs! I saw this especially in the Thailand concert (Korea one, everyone got a see,t so no need to exchange). Though I personally didn't exchange cuz I felt I would regret giving whom I got, and just thought they came to me, so they stay with me haha. But yea PC trade is totally normal! And even freebies! I got so many freebies both in Korea and Thailand. Funnily, I got freebies before and after the actual concert. Like when some random carat ran into me on the street, they say my Svt themed bag or accessory and gave me a freebie haha. So sweet! So yeah this was so sweet and so much relatable!!! But yea enjoyed watching this with you. I know you said it maybe hard to do so but hope you can check out Hit The Road too. And sorry for the long comment ㅠㅠ

oh Kerry i'm an introvert too but when I went to Seventeen concert, there was a caratzone where you get a free exclusive photocard if you have a weverse membership. people were exchanging photocards it's fun! i didn't pull Jeonghan nor Joshua so i tried exchanging and this one carat was looking for Scoups but I got DK yet she still gave me her Joshua pull! she flew all the way from the US and became my friend before the concert. concerts are where you meet friends! it's an amazing community ☺️

i don’t think seventeen has bubble. they mainly use weverse, which is free ;)

I believe they've already said they won't be reacting to it because they think it will be too emotional for them to watch especially for others to watch them react to. It's the same as how they won't react to the more emotional svt songs either.

you two should definitely watch “hit the road” at some point, which is a small youtube documentary about their last world tour before the pandemic. it’s also really emotional but it’s a good insight into the members, because they all have individual episodes where they talk about their personal lives, emotions, and their feelings as the tour progresses :)
