NCT Awsaz Returns – Episode 1 Part 1
Added 2025-04-30 17:00:38 +0000 UTCAfter a four-year hiatus (or just a two-week break for us!), NCT Awsaz is finally back – and the awkwardness is stronger than ever. First up in this new run are seasoned participant Jisung and newcomer Sion, who may only be three months apart in age but have years between their debuts. Will Jisung’s experience help him handle the discomfort better, or will they both be in equal cringe territory?
Taking over MC duties this time are Doyoung and Ryo, with the latter keen to show his mischievous side and test the limits of his NCT Wish leader. Sion, however, seems more reserved than expected – not quite jumping into the spirit of the show right away – leading to a hilarious moment where Doyoung has to step in and make him follow Ryo’s awkward instructions.
What follows is a wonderfully awkward and often hilarious exchange of forced friendliness, weird games, and brilliant reactions – just what we hoped for from the return of this chaotic gem. The only downside? This was just part one. Bring on next week!

Doyoung was actually on the first awsaz season with Renjun! But yes, he's generally pretty comfortable and good at leading conversation, and the reason he was paired with Ryo as mcs is because Ryo was/is a massive nct fan and Doyoung is his bias, so they've had a number of interactions and contents together since Wish's debut.

It is NEW levels of awkwardness as yet unexplored in AWSAZ 😭 FYI, Ryo is a huge Doyoung fan from before trainee days. Before this season of AWSAZ, they had a content together where Doyoung basically interviewed him on the many ways he loved him 😂😂

He's known for taking care of the dreamies since trainee days so him and jisung are pretty close ☺️

I think I like it like this, with one part of AWSAZ & one episode of Nopogy because first I love Nopogy & I need my daily dose of Jungwoo but most importantly because AWSAZ is still going on right now. They just dropped a new episode today, so if you guys catch up with AWSAZ & then start a new series, I don't know when you'll come back to AWSAZ, so rather be safe than sorry lol. Ryo has been known since LaStart as a huge czennie between Ryo & Hanbin I don't know who's the biggest nctzen anymore lol but surely the most successful has to be Ryo because imagine getting scouted by SM in a 127 concert, debuting into NCT, & bonding with your idol. That was also Shotaro at one point, so although he's not in the group anymore, he was once a successful fan like Ryo too. Ryo claimed Doyoung as his idol, so they have actually been seen quite a few times. They have their own episode of AWSAZ without the title & someone controlling them. It's just them officially getting to know each other, but it might as well be AWSAZ, lol. So whether it's through content or others talking about the other person to them, they've gotten close. I think that's why they choose them both to be the MC's here otherwise they could've have just gotten a Dream member for Jisung. Also, I'm not sure if you know this, but Doyoung & Renjun are the real reason AWSAZ exists. He really is a founding father not only of NCT but also one of their best contents. They were both in ep 1-4 of the 1st seasons, but unfortunately, y'all had to miss it, so at least you see him here. Their also the most successful pairing. Everyone else just sees each other trough events but Renjun & Doyoung really committed themselves to become close you'll especially see it if you watch behind content from 2020 onwards.🙃💚

2025-04-30 21:59:29 +0000 UTCcontrary to what u might think..... ryo & doyoung are actually quite close haha 😂 in this video ryo was still getting used to being next to his literal fav idol but they talk often, and eat together when they can - doyoung always buys him meals. also, not to spoil (which i'm not abt the content) but jisung and sion do speak still! they haven't been able to meet up very often or do anything together cause they're busy of course, but they have been doing a good job of keeping in touch and texting e/o, so i'm happy about that! 😊
