In this Going Seventeen episode, we see the group at their most unfiltered, outrageous, and absurdly talented as they take on their own version of ...Got Talent. If you thought improv variety chaos couldn’t be taken to the next level—think again.
Before filming began, each member was secretly assigned a character to portray in this audition-style format. We kick things off with Hoshi’s “fast rapper”, and very quickly realise the twist: if a member laughs, they get an electric shock. Uh oh. This is bad news for S.Coups, who seems physically incapable of holding it in, and DK, who never stood a chance.
Judges Seungkwan, Jeonghan, and S.Coups are also thrown in blind, armed only with blank sheets of paper pretending to be résumés. Despite the utter lack of preparation, they do an impressive job of steering the show, improvising critiques, and keeping up with the contestants’ chaos—well, all except S.Coups, who gives up resisting the shocks almost immediately.
From Jun’s over-the-top musical star, Dino’s chaotic magician, and Joshua’s eerily committed robot, to a whole range of bizarre, brilliant characters, the episode is a non-stop rollercoaster of laughter, surprises, and unexpected talents.
At this point, we shouldn’t still be surprised by just how quick, funny, and brilliant SEVENTEEN are at variety... and yet, they somehow keep outdoing themselves.
