After the cliffhanger at the top of the previous episode, we return to find Vincenzo in a perilous standoff—cornered by Italian hitmen on the rooftop of his apartment building. Just when it looks like they have the upper hand, a timely intervention from above saves him... but true to form, that’s only the beginning of the trouble he’ll face in this episode.
Back at Geumga Plaza, the residents are still buzzing from their involvement in the art gallery heist and feeling cautiously triumphant about Han-Seok’s arrest. That is, until a sudden twist sends everything into chaos once more. The shift in tone is immediate, and while panic sets in, there’s also a flicker of pride among the residents—they’re now emotionally invested, and it shows in their determination to keep fighting.
Meanwhile, a major reveal—one we clocked a few episodes ago—seems set to tip the balance back in Vincenzo’s favour, giving him leverage in both his legal crusade against Babel and his increasingly personal war with Han-Seok.
But it’s far from a clean win. In classic Vincenzo style, just as the tide turns, Han-Seok finds a way to strike back—this time hitting closer to Vincenzo’s heart, testing not just his strategy, but his very sense of control.
With the stakes escalating rapidly, this episode raises the tension yet again and sets up what looks to be a very intense final stretch.
