NCT WISH make their long-awaited debut on our Patreon with the absolutely adorable Wish Bakery, a charming and hilarious series that sees Sakuya take on the role of bakery owner, as he interviews each member to decide if they’re worthy of joining his team. Spoiler: the criteria are… unique.

In Episode 1, we begin with Riku, who is grilled by Sakuya on his love of bread, his speed-speaking ability, and his general vibe. He does his best to impress, but Sakuya is not an easy boss to win over. Next up is Sion, the group’s leader, who takes to the role-play with commitment and charisma, though his natural leadership can’t help but slip through. At one point, Sakuya even gets him to help open a bottle, because clearly, that’s just what leaders do.

Episode 2 opens with Yushi, who faces a surprisingly difficult listening test, questions about whether he resembles a cat, and plenty of moments that test his cuteness under pressure. We round off with Jayhee, whose job interview involves showing off his skills in Taekwondo and Psychology—because apparently, both are essential in the high-stakes world of bakery employment.

These first episodes are full of laughs, sweetness, and the kind of chaos only NCT can deliver, making Wish Bakery an instant hit and a perfect intro to this lovable group. We can’t wait to see who actually gets hired... if anyone does!
