Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 16 – Season Finale

The finale of this incredible, emotional, and impactful series brings together the many threads that have been quietly woven throughout the season—some tied up with warmth, others left gently unravelled.

At the centre is Young-Woo, whose future is being pulled in all directions by people with very different intentions. Kwon is still seemingly acting under Su-Mi’s instructions, subtly pushing for Young-Woo’s departure from Hanbada, with the promise of a lucrative opportunity in Boston waiting for her. What catches Young-Woo most off-guard is learning that her father has been in on Su-Mi’s plan all along, raising difficult questions about loyalty and protection.

Meanwhile, at Hanbada, Seon-Young continues to wield the power of the press, holding the knowledge of Young-Woo’s parentage like a weapon. However, it seems she may be exploring other ways to undermine Su-Mi—ones that don’t require sacrificing Young-Woo in the process. Her motives are murky, but her strategy is evolving.

The emotional core of the episode comes when Young-Woo and Su-Mi finally have the chance to speak face to face. It’s a tense, layered conversation, and Young-Woo delivers some quietly devastating truths, revealing only part of the impact Su-Mi’s choices have had on her life. It’s restrained, but powerful—and a fitting confrontation for a show that never reaches for easy drama.

And then, of course, there’s the question that’s been hanging in the air all season: Can Young-Woo and Jun-Ho truly be together? Jun-Ho now fully understands what Young-Woo meant when she said she feared making him feel lonely—something that others have warned him about all along. But does it matter to him? And can Young-Woo ever truly believe she’s capable of love in the way she wants to be?

This final episode brings with it tears, resolution, reflection, and just enough hope to carry into the future. A beautiful, heartfelt conclusion to a show that has challenged, uplifted, and stayed with us every step of the way.

I enjoyed watching this, thank you. I don't usually watch reactions to dramas, except just 3. And this is one of them. The other 2 is: Weak Hero Class and Flower of Evil. But i was happy to see that you did this one. I also learned so much more about you two from this series that I had been completely unaware of from just watching your Seventeen reactions. Anyway, hope your holiday is going well and that you're getting some good rest whenever you can. Keep well. 🩵🩷
