The penultimate episode of this remarkable series takes us into high-stakes territory as Young-Woo and her team defend a major online retailer whose recent data security breach has exposed the personal information of a staggering 80% of Korea’s population. That number, and what it represents, turns out to be far more pivotal to the case than anyone initially realises.

With Myung-Seok still recovering in hospital, Young-Woo finds herself under a new supervisor—one who proves to be much less understanding of her autism and far less capable when it comes to handling the courtroom. It’s a tough adjustment for Young-Woo, made even more difficult by Kwon’s enthusiastic attempts to win favour, which mostly serve to add pressure rather than relieve it.

Meanwhile, Jun-Ho is clearly struggling. His relationship with Young-Woo is still fractured, and though he’s suddenly receiving a lot of attention from others in the office, his heart isn’t in it. He’s still trying to make sense of the breakup, and when he finally decides to visit Young-Woo to talk, he’s unexpectedly intercepted by someone who appears to have a very different future in mind for her...
