SEVENTEEN – In the Soop Episode 6

The members split off into smaller groups to check off a few more activities from their Soopket List—starting with the team that threatened to leave Dino behind at the end of the last episode. Unsurprisingly, they didn’t actually abandon him, and he joins Jun, Mingyu, Wonwoo, and Jeonghan for a lake fishing trip. While the scenery is beautiful, their hauls are far from record-breaking, making for a relaxing if not particularly productive outing.

Meanwhile, DK and Vernon face off against one of nature’s most underestimated foes—the humble ant. What begins as a minor annoyance quickly escalates into a full-fledged battle of nerves, with DK struggling to summon the courage to deal with it. Vernon tries to act indifferent, but he can’t stop watching, especially when DK decides to prank him with it.

Elsewhere, The 8 takes on a giant canvas painting, letting the surrounding forest serve as his inspiration. Though he clearly would have preferred more time or better materials, his final piece showcases his true artistry, and despite the limitations, he seems satisfied with the result—as he should be!

With peaceful moments, quiet chaos, and SEVENTEEN’s signature variety-style antics, this episode delivers yet another perfectly balanced mix of wholesome relaxation and pure nonsense!

Yay, this was fun! I love how you both mentioned Wonu's small bites while eating haha. I also love how members parents are also like their own parents aww! (Also kinda late but since you asked at the end, I'm 27y (1997), F, no kids, single, and have been working Mon-Fri since I graduated in 2019, my major was computer engineering tho I learned Korean for 2 years at weekends when I was in my prev company and currently I work as a Korean translator/interpreter for IT projects and am doing E-MBA on weekends haha. About what is life, haha idk, it's just something extremely long haha lol)

Hit the road!

gyuzii

OKay soooo another suggestion. I agree with the people that are suggesting hit the road, since it could be a short break between s1 and s2, one fine day is good as well, but I would also love to see you react to project17. I don't think you've done that one yet.

Magic Shop in SVT space

Minghao's paintings including this one from In the Soop were exhibited in London! in Saatchi gallery!

jeonghan’s noona

huhu but as carats, i feel like it's a must see. it's not always fun and success in their career. like we all know that but it's still different seeing what actually happens behind the scenes. it's like being with Seventeen through good times and bad 🥺

jeonghan’s noona

where they're working too hard? well that is HIT THE ROAD! while One Fine Day is also them working hard, there's a concept in it and games while Hit the Road is a documentary of the reality of their jobs.

jeonghan’s noona

I also recomnend hit the road if you want to see them working hard (sometimes too hard).

marsssss

I highly recomend hit the road. Its a bit sad at times but it just shows them behind the scenes on tour and you get to see a very real side of them that i dont think you see much in other shows. Theyre just very honest through that series and i think its a really good show for carats to watch. Its also a very short series in length so you could knock that out pretty quickly.

Gabbi

While One Fine Day is fun, I think you guys would fall more in love with SVT through Hit the Road. While yes, tissues are def needed, you see a whole new side to their dedication to each other and to their job. As a long time Carat, this series both wrecked me and also made me fall in love with them even more. It truly is sooo eye opening and makes you appreciate them both as artists and as people.

Brianna Barbarise

There is no other seventeen content to watch after this than One Fine Day in Yeosodo! You’re gonna see them work really hard just for food but its still a super fun watch. After that you can go back to In The Soop 2 for more healing content.

dopemingyu

wanting to see SVT work too hard *one fine day intensifies* laughing about kwonFIRE *one fine day iNtEnSiFiEs* "kpop idols can't catch a fish" *one fine day INTENSIFIES* In all seriousness, One Fine Day is an excellent variety show where idols usually get to go on their dream getaway (Shinee's OFD is an excellent and entertaining example). I view Nana Tour as the long awaited fulfillment of the promise One Fine Day made them xD In this Soop ep, I really enjoy it when they call Wonwoo's dad because Wonwoo is from the same area as my mom, so it's nice to hear the dialect, haha. Thank you! Always having a good time when watching along. ("What is it that you do?" at the end i.e. viewers. I'm a uni professor. So, school school school school.... then school school school but now sort of being in charge).

jung

Oh yes One Fine Day S1 is iconic. If you want to see them Surviving. They were so young there! It’s the show that gave them trust issues with the production team (you’ll notice that they tend to bring ramyeon with them whenever they’re on a trip- it’s a trauma response lol) A must-watch!

caratcake97

I would imagine it would be a in your free time thing, but if Simon enjoys watching complicated Sudoko games type videos, he might really enjoy the devils plan on netflix. It's a reality show with Korean celebs and a couple non celebs which Seungkwan is in, where they play high IQ games, e.g. mafia when they've just met, there's also a memorise this scene and answer questions and some games that went over my head way too much to be able to explain. But it was still enjoyable to watch even when I had no chance of knowing what the game was and how to play it.

Abzify1

Yes One Fine Day

Jisoo17ww

Kwonfire is so iconic

shanna

Plus you get access to loads of other dramas etc if you’re interested in kdamas/c dramas/j dramas/ verities all sorts

Syeda Alam

Can I make a suggestion for In the soop2… rather than watching it on weverse you can watch it on Viki! The quality is good and the subscription is like £4 a month! So cheaper than weverse too!

Syeda Alam

If you want to see them working hard, I recommend One Fine Day Season 1. It's also the birth of Kwonfire.

Valen Anaya

A 12/13 y/o (European age) only to succeed out of 300 people shows his talent even that young!!! i would really say 17 project it is honestly worth. it is sad but not ball your eyes out. it is them working hard to make their debut by doing challenges. although there is still fun and chaos. the more sad moments we can highlight the time in advance?

Sarah_littlesvt

They've said already they won't do hit the road as clips makes them think they won't be able to handle the emotions of it.

Abzify1

i’d recommend watching the One Fine Day series they did when they were super young it’s the most stressed i’ve ever been watching any svt content they work super hard the whole time

gyukoo

I recommend watching all the behind videos for in the soop after finishing this season other than that I look forward to any svt content you put out. Also, I'm pretty sure the painting Minghao did in this episode was included in the art exhibition he was invited to display his art in- so he probably still has it.

XSHINeeBAP

The Documentary series Hit the Road would definitely leave you feeling like they need a break, lol.

Yukime

If you need something in between ITS, I would suggest One Fine Day. There are two seasons as well. First one is a few months after debut and I promise you will appreciate their relaxation of In The Soop after that lol.
