I remember them describing themselves as a family with Baek as their father, Taemin as their mother and Kai as their oldest brother. Taeyong saying he didn't even expect to get anywhere near that close to his fellow members, let alone to do so that quickly, really warms my heart. I especially loved seeing how close Taeyong and Baekhyun became with each other and how much that friendship meant to Taeyong that he even got a tattoo inspired by the strength he received from Baek as an older brother and leader in the group. Mark adored Kai like anything and Taemin took such great care of Ten. It was all-round such a special group and I am so sad that we may never get to see them together again. Military enlistment and SM's mismanagement really robbed us of more time with them and it sucked too that the majority of their activities were affected greatly by the covid pandemic. Regardless, I am so grateful that they happened - they brought a new sense of excitement to KPOP that was so contagious.

In EXO, on some occasions when Suho has been absent, it's Baek who takes the lead in speaking for the group. He’s a very vocal person who shares his opinions and isn’t afraid to defend his fellow members. I think he’s a super empathetic person. Now Kai does behave differently when he's in SuperM, and I loved discovering this side of him. In EXO, since he’s one of the youngest, he’s more pampered and childlike. In SuperM, he's one of the older members, and he loves teasing the younger ones and taking care of them.
