In Grudge Part 1, the members dive into a thrilling, spooky episode set in an eerie town with an abandoned house. Divided into teams posing as YouTubers, their challenge is to create a ghost-hunting video that racks up the most “views” by outdoing the other teams in scares and suspense.
First up are Jeonghan, Joshua, and The8, who quickly realise that the quiet town might not be so quiet after all. As they explore the house, the unsettling atmosphere ramps up, ending their segment with a sudden twist. Next, Dino and Hoshi step up to face the abandoned house, finding evolved versions of the obstacles their predecessors encountered, keeping the episode suspenseful, gripping, and just as spooky.
This episode is packed with thrills, chills, and the signature Seventeen humour, making it a must-watch for any CARAT.

I think the brief given to them here was as you said, "they are YouTubers trying to explore the most haunted abandoned place to find a ghost” and the end of the task is to write their name on the mirror.

The members know that they’re here to film GoSe but at the same time they’re questioning if the people are real and are being serious, or if they are part of the filming. They know as much as we do.

2024-10-31 23:13:58 +0000 UTCWhenever your watching going seventeen and it’s not scrictly them playing a game, and it’s a episode where it follows a storyline, it’s important to rmbr that most of it is scripted like even the side characters that feel weird are part of the story. Given that, the members don’t acc know what’s going on. Like they’re given a basic instruction. For this episode all they know is that “ they are YouTubers trying to explore the most haunted abandoned place to find a ghost”. Everything else is either a adlib by them, or created by the situation they’re facing (being scared by the other characters, etc)

2024-10-27 20:39:09 +0000 UTCI think the members know the most basic things. Also another unique thing with the names part, Team 1 really did not want to write their names. The8 didn't write Minghao, he wrote "Myungho" his Korean name, Joshua wrote just "Shua", and for Jeonghan he first wrote in English but when members asked him to write in Korean he scribbled something like "Jeongran" or "Jeonggwan" you can't actually exactly read what it is. Meanwhile, Team 2 wrote their real names lol. Hoshi wrote Soonyoung and Dino wrote Chan. P.S. Hope you end up seeing Bad Clue 1 and 2 someday. It's not horror but mystery! Excited for Grudge Part2 :)

Even jeonghan said later that he had always thought that in a real life crisis, he would be willing to sacrifice/die himself for his members but that day when the man attacked their team, apparently jeonghan pushed minghao infront of him and he hid behind hao, so he was really upset with himself after the shoot and in a funk for the next few days😂

I get what they were going for, though - the YouTuber concept, self-documentary style. But definitely my least favourite. And you've watched all the others already. 😊
