Going Seventeen - Boss #1

Hello everyone and welcome back to the Patreon. We're back with another K-Pop reaction for you here today.

In Going Seventeen - Boss #1, the Seventeen members dive headfirst into the intense and chaotic world of "Boss," and, as expected, the game quickly turns into a whirlwind of negotiations, mind games, and plenty of double-crossing.

Strategic (and Not-So-Strategic) Moves

Hoshi, true to form, adds his unique flair, seemingly lost in the complexity of the game while his fellow members strategize around him. Meanwhile, Seungkwan and Dino are clearly scheming behind the scenes, with their sneaky plans keeping everyone on edge. On the other side, Mingyu isn't one to play it cheap, driving tough bargains and keeping his prices sky-high.

From tense alliances to hilarious bluffs, the episode delivers non-stop laughter and thrilling competition as the members fight to come out on top. But with so many twists, betrayals, and unexpected tactics, it’s anyone’s guess who will end part 1 in the lead.

Quick Game Breakdown

With Seventeen’s wild personalities and competitive streak, this episode is packed with strategic blunders, betrayals, and hilarious moments that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat!

I say this with all certainty, no other group does variety like SVT! This is coming from someone who has watched a huge chunk of kpop variety content from other groups. The levels and creativity in GOSE is insane. The production team and SVT struck gold with their partnership. It's like a Tim Burton and Johnny Depp team-up.

Poor Vernon, literally and figuratively😔 haha. I love how Hoshi was just vibin', making random offers and he does get some bucks😆 My guess would be the Jeonghan-Woozi-Wonwoo alliance will go stronger and probably will earn a lot next rounds. Esp if they take Hoshi's good cards too in consideration... But the surprising BooChan (Seungkwan-Dino) alliance has a great chance to have huge profits, only if they get to keep it secret and lowkey til the end. Once their hyungs notice it, they'll have no chance for sure lol.

I really appreciated Joshua in this Episode. He was so kind to all of the members like with Dino and catching on that Mingyu wanted to scam him, and even when he grabbed Vernon’s hand and told him good job. He just wants to watch the others have a good time. Plus, Seungkwan and Dino are killing it, I love them. Can’t wait for everyone to find out next episode that they’ve formed a partnership.

I just want to appreciate that with a large group like seventeen, they are able to pull-off contents like this very well. Their biggest advantage 💙 very mind-stimulating game

What if vernon drop the 18mills project for cards, but then members would disagree with him so he made a deal to pay 1 million to each member to not interfere the project, so he would be left with 6 millions. Is this scenario even an option tho haha. I mean rather than spending all the cards and not getting any in the end. If he dropped the project at least he gained 3 cards 🥲 poor vernon

Simon i told you you would love this going on stream last night!!!!!

Sarah_littlesvt

“He’s got the look of a man that believes he’s gonna win” YEP. When it comes to brain games or any game in general, Coups plays to win. The members have said that winning is more important to him than having fun. So if you see him looking more serious and intense than everyone else, that’s why 😅 and I love it so much. Brain game episodes are my fave 💕

Jeonghan, Woozi & Wonwoo alliances are scary, I would’ve given up 😅

Purple Spirit

I really loved this episode so much! The rules were easy to understand and it was so fun to see them strategize and even not. And looking forward to Vernon next episode :")

WOOOOO

ela

This episode is so fun! The rules are easy to understand and I agree that they play games really well--some of them are really competitive, while others are more into observing and going with the flow. Them hurriedly convincing Dino not to make questionable decision made me laugh though 😂

Uli

I, too, got stuck when reading all those rules but once they started playing, it was easy to follow. Ugh I loved it. More than I thought I would. Looking forward to next week's episode. "Love you. Byeeeeee"

POOR VERNON is so right! SVT spared no mercy on his project 😭 I hope he comes back in the next episode!

irie

😭 it really won’t, it’ll probably be S.Coups and Mingyu team ups.

Samy

I understand this so much better rewatching with you guys 😅 Jeonghan and Scoups are so intimidating but so good at these strategic games. There’s 2 other strategy kind of game they’ve done in GoSe and I can’t wait till you guys get to them I think those two are my all time favourite strategic games they’ve done in GoSe, won’t spoil them till you guys get to them.

Samy

Can you please reaction boynxetdoor guide

Cawo Dawo

i suddenly realize, this kind of gose will never be the same without jeonghan

tim

This game reminds me of monopoly go in a weird way 🤣 building property sets and using action cards to stop other players haha this one you need to be more strategic in spending money and alliances tho I love it!

irie

Reading your write-up before I start watching, as always. Pledis needs to hire you to do the English intros and explanations fr
