That’s why I loved the performance - it doesn’t have that rehearsed feeling, that kpop idol perfection(hence the panda suits) where every move is choreographed, it’s relaxed it doesnt have that crazy concert intensity (which i do love but this is just different). . It felt like some extremelytalented friends jamming together at a party, but still casually belting and hitting serious notes just for the fun of it. You can see how relaxed and confident they are, so much so that they put in more different riffs and harmonies and adlibs than they normally do… this makes me happy because it means that they are so comfortable and at home in the presence of EXO-Ls. It’s a special type of performance, it doesnt need to be compared to “their best” concert performances. It’s a great gift to the fandom because I was expecting to see only 6 songs and a whole bunch of games like previous fanmeets. This time they only did one game and never in my life would I have thought I would get to see them perform several full songs (some never before performed!!!) on top of the 11? Songs in the medley (all of which were different from the first show’s medley!)

I noticed that as well. Glad you got to experience seeing them live though and got to be there. I'm sure it was a special day for both the group and the fans 🥰

2024-04-28 16:13:32 +0000 UTCI was there live 11th row from floor, if facing the sound control booth (side where they faced during ments and where sehun and kai sat) I was on the right side. It is a 360 stage and to me the audio quality was sub par. On our side of arena, the vocals were very very loud, so loud in fact that we can hardly hear the instrumentals. I didnt mind it because I love their vocals, they sounded really really impressive, but I could tell Baekhyun did not have his usual power he sounded a little out of breath/weak. Understandable given he had concert night before arrived just that morning. Chanyeol also sounded out of breath at times, understandable given he had to rap much longer than usual. But my friend who was sitting on the opposite side of the arena (left side facing the control booth) said the vocals sounded so weak on her side, she actually thought they were all tired or something. Listening now to the livestream, I can tell the sound is not balanced at all. The volume of backing track and instrumentals is inconsistent. Not making excuses, just saying that it’s a new arena and it’s a 360 style stage. Therr was also a part during the games or the ment, where Baekhyun says something loudly and he actually winces in pain and pulls out his in ear piece because it’s so loud in their ears. I really think they had sound engineering issues. But apart from a few off and breathy moments from ChanBaek, everybody slayed live

We know they can sing live incredibly so they have nothing to prove especially to me lmao That said, this was so cute. I am so glad I got to see D.O. and Xiumin perform Obsession even for a few seconds. I love that album and song as is, it's top three one of my favorite songs/albums ever but I wish there could be another one made with D.O. and Xiumin included 😄 Thank you for posting!

2024-04-28 15:58:19 +0000 UTCThat's true. Baek was here in PH for his Lonsdaleite Concert Saturday evening, flew back to South Korea right after and did the Fanmeeting the next day. He was sick and he had to get an IV drip after the fanmeet. Suho was sick too during the fanmeet. It was so much obvious during the first one (the one you just watched is the 2nd FM of the same day). And at the start of this 2nd FM, he did say he's feeling a bit better than the first.

Watching this live had zero clue wtf they were saying in the intro, kinda understood what Chen and Baekhyun said hahaha. It was so surreal like they are just mindblowingly amazing live, and then all of a sudden they turn around and all you see is black dots and wiggly panda butts ahahaha. D.O.’s “uh huUuUuh” in LMR chorus, and his “sungaAaAn” in Lucky One, all the actual killing parts that they didnt include in the actual Dingo Killing Voice I was so happy to hear them. Chen’s voice that cuts through any distance and any surface lol. Chanyeol’s Obsession rap and dum dum dum in Tempo - I died, he killed me. Xiumin is ethereal in real life. I feel like you would recognize his face even from 500meters away his face is so distinct his body shape his aura is crazy?! Suho sounds like he’s lip syncing but he’s not, he is just so fckn crystal clear live and his face is the definition of perfection. Baekhyun who is always in the moment, interacting with the audience and with the members, definitely one of the best and most engaging live performers of our time. Kai and Sehun were in the audience, but unfortunately, they never showed them in the stream! They made Kai do The First Snow challenge! Same with Chen and Suho version of Don't Fight The Feeling, because they were in the military when the song was recorded.

And yes, I don't think they had much time to prepare as everyone was busy with their own solo projects. But they still performed brilliantly! If I'm not mistaken, a few of them got sick afterwards. This was their second show. The first one was at 2 pm the same day.
