2024-04-15 18:33:26 +0000 UTCloved to see your reaction to the ultimate gose betrayal! i was giggling along once y'all figured jeonghan was up to something and jeonghan did a livestream soon after this episode aired where he revealed that he was so shaken up by the betrayal bc it came from coups, someone he trusts blindly usually and that he was just sitting there going through a whole mental breakdown bc he couldn't believe he'd been betrayed by his best friend lol to this day jeonghan brings it up and watches as coups grovels haha

2024-04-15 17:06:17 +0000 UTCone of the things that makes GOSE so successful imo is that the guys have SUCH a good relationship with their production staff. you can really tell over the course of the episodes that they not only come to have a real bond, but the staff takes a lot of pride in the show. the guys are all hilarious and put in 100% but i think the real magic is in the synergy between them and the crew.

The thing you have to understand about this is that this was the betrayal of the decade, the CENTURY, jeonghan was so shook lmao. Like scoups and jeonghan are the two pillars of seventeen, they’re the leader and vice leader and as such, they hold the most sway over the court of public opinion (as you saw in the one million won episode). They’re usually a single unit, a united front in the midst of chaos, and jeonghan in particular is like scoups emotional support rock so even in their normal day to day dynamic scoups almost always does whatever jeonghan asks of him! Like if jeonghan needs a cup of water but he’s lazy and the kitchen is half a mile away, scoups is gonna go get him that water 😂 So yeah, I mean, you’ve seen how lawless going seventeen is and what a menace jeonghan is, they betray each other left and right and it’s no big deal usually but this one flip of the script was UNFATHOMABLE 🤣 and it’s even funnier because they actually filmed this episode before the treasure island episodes you watched, and scoups mentioned that he made sure to stick by jeonghan the whole time on the island because poor jeonghan was still feeling sulky about it lol, they’re the cutest and I adore them so much Btw I know you mentioned going back to the beginning of going seventeen but there’s another recurring saga similar to don’t lie I think you’d enjoy! It’s the debate night episodes where they have to creatively debate over nonsensical topics using nonsensical logic to backup their arguments. Also a whole mess and great fun

Because he always trusts S.Coups, it was really a shock for him🤣🤣 Also, your comment about Mingyu being /almost/ cool but not quite—perfect description of him in this show tbh. Hahaha. (Oh, seeing your reactions to the Don’t Lie series, i cannot wait until you watch Bad Clue, which is a detective game they play with a gripping storyline).
