Dinocrocuta

Dinocrocuta was a genus of large, vaguely hyena-like carnivores that lived during the Miocene. They're classified in the feliform clade along with actual hyenas, but there are no surviving members of their family. Oh, and their skulls are massive o.o

Keep up the awesome work! Good luck with your continued experiments. This result has been very intriguing. Not many, if any, artist I know have done something like this. Very, very cool!

That whole area is famous for its fossils and I'd love to make a trip out there. I've been rekindling an interest in paleontology over the past couple years and wow, there's SO much to learn :P

That is quite a thick neck! Maybe it is for catching everyone taking not so subtle looks at her. I love the realistic and maternal build. Can’t love this enough!

My wife and I are visiting family in Nebraska and have learned more about extinct mammals this past week than we have in the last decade! They've got more fossils up here than you can shake a stick at-- and I think they should arrange them like the way you have here ; )
