"Vine Rider" (pencil and color)
Added 2019-05-18 20:00:43 +0000 UTCMaia the kinkajou, surfing down that vine with impossible ease! I added some flat colors to the pencil work, but I'm still not sure if it really added to the picture -- let me know which you like better.
Kinkajous are a new subject for me. I love under-represented animals, and while drawing this I remembered another lesser-encountered procyonid from a while back. Not long after they were declared a separate species, I drew a couple of olinguitos hanging out in the cloud forest.
