"Subjects of Interest"

Here's the continuation of the story, this evening shared between a fox and bear in a very cozy home-den. I imagine two or three more installments will finish up this little story.
The shaman made for easy company, sharing stories of a few favorite recipes and hinting at just how much luck went into discovering them. To look her in the face I had to incline my eyes quite a bit, and feeling the potency of her earthy brew, they only begged to wander the rest of her imposing figure.
"Maybe I have something else I can show you . . ." The bear's voice warmer and smoother than her tea as she closed her personal journal and turned around to choose another volume. She certainly wasn't shy, lounging in the firelit warmth of her den, but with her little tail high, it became clearer just what she wanted to show me.

It gives them a nice feeling of being comfortable with each other that, I think, makes this particular image even better. Plus they're both as cute as they can be!
