Did you know the nice brown Alien guy was played by the Irish actor from Halloween 3 and the Head of OCP in RoboCop 1 & 2 also this was directed by the first on screen Michael Myers Nick Castle, thought Looker and Tron were the first Hollywood movies with CGI this was the first to use it on a large scale. Also the Lead got to know Nick Castle when both worked together in Halloween 2 (my favourite of all the films) and the last star fighter was never a Arcade game it was released on PC as a game. One of the Geniuses of this movie is Centari was cast with Music Man Actor Robert Preston who's history of Stage Musical acting made his charm and wit as well as Charismatic performance which I find in the Star Warsploitation area this movies class in makes it stand out from the crowd as well as the humour.
