Unrelated, but I try to gather up a TON of reference material before a chapter starts to help with inspiration. I have a BUNCH of images saved and ready to pull up of lakes, rivers, and forests... but with the way I designed the scenes here, I really only need to know what two or three areas near the dome look like.
Whomp whomp. I'd do reference gathering /after/ scripting so I wouldn't waste so much time on this kind of thing, but the reference gathering is a big part of where I get my initial inspiration for stuff from, soooooo
