I think Universal dropped the ball when it came to advertising for this movie. By putting "III" in the title, it implied that it was following the first two movies, which both featured Michael Myers. While the trailer never showed Michael, it didn't explain to audiences that this was to be an anthology series. This was back before the internet, and I remember seeing it and wondering how that movie was related to the first two movies. I didn't care for it at first, but it has since become one of my favorites of the Halloween series.

2023-10-25 00:14:42 +0000 UTCThe third channel was CBS. Only old people watch that so the kids were safe. Also, Mr Movies you are correct the bugs and snakes are a byproduct of the spell that kills the mask wearer. They didn’t just want to kill the kids, they wanted to kill everyone in the room.
