So given there's a character named Jay Landsman, another character based on Jay Landsman, and the REAL Jay Landsman (he plays Mello, Bunny Colvin's right hand man in season three and continued on in the series from there), there are basically three Jay Landsman characters in this final season.

2023-09-19 21:08:36 +0000 UTCRichard Belzer’s Detective Munch started on a show called Homicide which was set in Baltimore, the same character moved over to Law and Order and has even appeared in the X-Files and now The Wire. I think the character has appeared in 6-10 different series altogether. So technically they’re all part of the same universe. 😂
