Great reaction as always, glad to see you guys finally get around to this one.👍 "any other time travel movies you might like" Primer (2004)..... Certainly one of if not the most realistic time travel film ever made, and done on a micro-budget. Although I'd be hesitant to suggest it given the mild confusion here as it's a total mind-f*ck. Brilliant film though. Looper, while it's a movie that does have time travel as a core story element, takes the easy Hollywood route of skipping getting into the really gritty details of the process or the actual mechanics of it. It's more just a morality/redemption tale. Granted, a damn good morality/redemption tale, but not really heady science fiction. Just the Hollywood tropes of "it's too complicated to discuss", or "it would take too long to explain", or "we'll be here all day talking about it", or 'insert random line of dialogue here so writers won't have to actually explain it'.😏
